A phone started ringing in a dark place. Someone was panting in fear. Eventually the person grabbed the phone. Damon was calling. The phone's light revealed that the person in the dark was Sheriff Forbes. She quickly answered. Liz: "Damon?" Damon: "Liz, are you okay?" Liz: (with a crying voice) "No, I'm not, Damon! I'm not okay!" Damon: "Where are you?" Liz: (after a brief pause, with a whispering voice) "I don't know!" Damon: "Tell me what you see!" Liz: "I can't see anything, everywhere is dark. Some sort of basement, maybe. There's a smell." Damon: "What smell?" Liz: "Moist. Like it's hard to breath." Damon: (suddenly bugged by something, spoke with a quiet voice) "Liz, why are you whispering?" Liz: (her fear was clear in her voice) "Because.. I think she's listening to me!" "Earlier..." Back in Bonnie's room, the shape in the mirror had completely cleared. Misao was right there in front of them, as if she was on the other side of a newly cleaned window. The gang was looking in part confusion part shock. Misao: "I wasn't expecting to see all of you." June: (to Bonnie) "Is this two way?" Bonnie: "I think so." Misao: "It is. I can see all four of you. I don't know how, but you made it work way better than I would have imagined." Damon: "This is way too creepy." Misao: "But I'm glad you finally reached out." Bonnie: "You're glad? Did you ever give us a reason to trust you?" Damon: "She knows she didn't. And god knows we would never in a million years do this." Misao: "Then why did you? Because you want Elena back?" June: "That's given!" Damon: "No, the only reason we're risking this is because my brother vouched for you." Misao: "I don't think so. Tatia sensed that one of you tried to reach out to her. That's when you knew you could trust me." Damon: (to Stefan, in a questioning manner) "Is she for real? She can read our minds?" Stefan subtly shook her head, indicating he wouldn't know. Misao: "I can't read your minds. But it wouldn't change anything. I'm on your side now." Bonnie: "How'd that happen?" Misao took a deep breath and exhaled. Gang was waiting for her answer. Meanwhile in the Forbes house, Caroline was sleeping in her bed. Her face looked much pale, indicating she hasn't fed in a while. Suddenly she opened her eyes, and gasped with an impulse. Her throat was so dry that she almost couldn't breath. Her eyes caught a bottle of water near her bed. She desperately reached out and drank it. While not exactly what she really needed, it seemed to help a bit. After her breathing steadied, she looked outside of her window. With her eyes focused, she slowly murmured. Caroline: "Mom!" All the way at Carol's place, the voice echoed inside Liz's head. She shook her head in an effort to shake it off. Caroline, feeling it didn't work, stood up and spoke with more persistence. Caroline: "Mom! It's me, your daughter! Please, I need your help. Come to me! Come to me mom!" Liz's pupils changed size, indicating she got under Caroline's influence. At that time Carol was walking into the living room with tea. Carol: "As I was saying, I don't even know why I still live here." Liz numbly looked at her as she sat. Then stood up. Her almost lifeless moves, as if she was a robot, seemed to bug Carol. Carol: "Liz?" (Liz slightly moved her head, almost as if she wanted to but couldn't. Then started to walk. Somehow understanding that she's compelled, Carol rushed towards her) "Elizabeth!" But Liz quickly took her down and then knocked her out with a hit to the back of her head. As Carol fell down unconscious, Liz opened the door and walked out. Back in Bonnie's room.. Misao: "I know you see me as the enemy. But that's only because we're all loyal to the people we love." Bonnie: "So you love Inari?" Misao: "I hate Inari!" Damon: "Then you'll be glad to know she's dead." Misao: (surprised) "That's not possible." Bonnie: "She is. We killed her a couple weeks ago." Misao: "Then it's definitely not possible." Bonnie: "Why?" Misao: "Kitsune magic comes from Inari. Without her, we're simply humans. If she was dead,.." Damon: (interrupted her) "We snapped her neck." Misao: (understood) "Inari's a god. Takes a lot more than that to kill her." Bonnie: "So.." Misao: "She's healing." Bonnie: (with horror) "She'll be back!" Misao: "She will." A brief silence occurred. Stefan: "You once told me that I remind you of yourself, before you became evil for Inari." (Misao looked at him with a slight hint of sadness) "If not Inari, who are you loyal to?" Misao: (sighed) "My brother. Inari has my brother. And every time I disobey, she hurts him. That's why I took her absence as a chance to rebel. I'm tired. One way or the other, I want this over." The looks on their faces indicated that they believed, even felt sad for Misao. Stefan: "So why don't you free him now?" Misao: "I don't know where he is. Tatia and I've been trying to locate him, but.. it's difficult." Bonnie: "Can we talk to Elena?" Misao: "She's not with me right now. But I'll tell her we spoke." June: "Can you send her back?" Misao: "I'm afraid I can't. I don't possess the magic to open portals anymore. And I can't enter Inari's vault. It's protected by a magic that beats mine." Stefan: (to his friends, with a thoughtful voice) "Inari told us that she has no way back home unless she sacrifices the doppelganger." Misao: (understood what he means) "So until this is over, the safest place she can be is right here." Bonnie: "If Elena wishes the same thing. You can't force her to stay there." Damon: "Especially considering Klaus is also there." Misao: "I'm not forcing her to do anything, escaping here was her choice. Tatia and I are helping her as best as we can." Bonnie, June, Stefan and Damon looked at each other. They all seemed to be thinking the same thing. Bonnie slowly looked at Misao. Bonnie: "We need your help with something. Our friend Caroline, something's happened to her." Misao: "Your friend Caroline. She was the blonde one, right?" Bonnie: "Yeah." Misao: "Last I checked she was a vampire. How can I help with what's happening to her?" Stefan: "Because she's under a kitsune's spell." Misao: "There is no kitsune spell that can affect a vampire." Damon: "She's having dual personalities, one minute she's our good old Caroline, next minute she's vicious and brutal." Bonnie: "And it comes and goes. It's not consistent. Not like a witch spell is. This sounds a lot like a kitsune's doing." Misao: "I admit it does. But a spell that's working on vampires is unprecedented. Even Inari is incapable of it. That's why she had to wait for five centuries for the next doppelganger to be born. Wouldn't she have located Katerina long ago if she had this kind of power?" The gang saw her point, and looked helpless. Damon: (not to any person, desperately) "Then what is happening to her?" Misao: "If you could bring her here, I could take a closer look, see if I can help." June: (to Stefan and Damon) "She's still trapped in her room, right?" Damon: (nodded) "She is." Misao: "But don't count on anything. Whatever is happening to your friend, I'm sure it's not a kitsune's doing." Damon: "We'll see." Bonnie: "We'll reach out to you again one hour later, is that okay with you?" Misao: "It is." June: "Make sure Elena is with you by then." Misao: "I'm sure she won't miss a chance to talk to you. She's been worried about all of you." Stefan: "Till then.." June and Bonnie left each other's hands, and the connection broke. The mirror returned to reflecting the room. June: "I'll never look at the mirrors the same way again!" Damon: (to Stefan) "Let's go get blondie." Meanwhile, Forbes house's door opened and Liz walked in. As Caroline waited, Liz eventually arrived to Caroline. The door was wide open. Caroline dangerously smiled. Caroline: "Hi mom." Liz: (with tears falling down her cheek) "You're not my daughter. Are you?" Caroline: "I am your daughter. I'm just different." Liz: "My daughter would never.." Caroline: (interrupted her) "Oh shut up. Your daughter isn't that lighthearted, sweet and kind girl anymore, wake up! She fought in wars, killed dozens. But you've been so self absorbed that you never even stopped to think about the toll it might have taken on me. I've dealt with everything by myself, and the one person that should have been there for me through all that was nowhere to be found. You failed me, mother! So don't stand before me and tell me about myself because you don't know me anymore." Liz: "You're right. I don't know you anymore." (Caroline looked at her with contempt. Liz felt crushed under that look, but tried to hide it) "Why did you call me here?" Caroline: "When I woke up, I realized that, much to my annoyance, I can't leave this room!" (hit the blocking spell at the door with her two hands in anger. Liz blinked reflexively) "I take that Bonnie has something to do with it." Liz: "Can you blame her?" Caroline: "Nevertheless, you're gonna help me get out of here." Liz: "Even if I could, why would I?" Caroline: (compelled her) "Because if you don't help me, you're gonna gouge out your other eye." The calm way Caroline said that left Liz in terror. But nonetheless, she now had to obey. Liz: "What do you want me to do?" Caroline: "Unfortunately killing Bonnie wouldn't undo the spell, so.. It could've been easier. Anyway, I want you to snap my neck." (Liz looked at her in confusion. Caroline looked at the threshold) "I have a feeling that the only reason this spell can keep me here is because I'm still alive." (looked at Liz) "Take that away, and I can get out, but I can't be not alive and walk out at the same time. That's where you come in. You're gonna snap my neck, and then take me somewhere else." Liz: (obviously didn't want to help, but she had no choice) "Alright." She took a step towards Caroline, but Caroline took a step back with a vague smile. Caroline: "Mom?" (Liz was looking in confusion) "You didn't ask me where to take me." Liz: "Where do you want me to take you?" Caroline: (smiled dangerously) "I know just the place!" Misao entered Elena's room. She was laying on her bed, while Matt was on another bed next to hers. She raised her head, then got to a sitting position when she saw Misao. Misao: "You spend too much time with a dead body in your room." Elena: "Tatia is busy working on her spells, and that makes the alternative Klaus, so.." Misao: "I hear ya. Which is why I thought it might cheer you up to know that your friends contacted me." Elena: (got off the bed and stood up with a pleasant shock) "What?" Misao: "We spoke for a while. I don't think they trust me completely. Which is why they asked to see you." Elena: (cried with joy) "Oh my god! .. Are they.." Misao: (knew what Elena would ask, and interrupted her with a reassuring smile) "They're okay. They're all okay. And they want to see you." Elena: (hugged Misao in tears, much to Misao's surprise) "Thank you! Thank you so much!" Misao: "I barely did anything, but.. you're welcome!" Elena left Misao and wiped the tears off her eyes with her hands. Elena: "Okay. I'm ready." Misao: "Like I said, they don't trust me completely. Bonnie's guards are still up, the only way I can talk to them is if they reach out to us." Elena: "Did they say when they'll contact us?" Misao: "Within the hour." Elena nodded. Then laughed briefly with happiness. Footsteps were closing to Caroline's room. Eventually Stefan showed up at the door. But he was shocked to see the room empty. He ran back outside. Meanwhile Damon was waiting outside the Forbes house, waiting for Stefan to come out. He startled with a sudden scream. Carol: "Damon!" (he quickly turned his head and saw Carol running towards him. Clearly something got her real spooked. When she arrived, she took a little while to catch her breath. She was panting because of the run) "Damon.. it's Elizabeth!" Damon: (got worried) "What happened?" Carol: "I don't know. She suddenly stood up and went, I tried to stop her but I couldn't!" Suddenly Stefan came out of the house running. Stefan: "Damon! She's not in her room!" Damon: "What? How could she have gone?" Carol: "Liz.. she looked like she was compelled." Damon: "By whom?" Stefan: (with a voice indicating it must be her) "Caroline." Damon: (looked at Stefan) "From all the way her room?" Stefan: "You once did the same on her." Damon: "She's too young to pull that off!" Carol: "Liz said Bonnie spelled the room so she can't get out, how could have Liz freed her?" Damon: (took his phone) "I'm hoping to find out." He called Elizabeth's number. It rang for a while, as the trio waited anxiously to see who would pick up. Finally someone did, and Liz's voice came. Liz: "Damon?" Damon: "Liz, are you okay?" Liz: (with a crying voice) "No, I'm not, Damon! I'm not okay!" Damon: "Where are you?" Liz: (after a brief pause, with a whispering voice) "I don't know!" Damon: "Tell me what you see!" Liz: "I can't see anything, everywhere is dark. Some sort of basement, maybe. There's a smell." Damon: "What smell?" Liz: "Moist. Like it's hard to breath." Damon: (in shock) "Caroline?" Liz: "Yes." Damon: "She kidnapped you?" Liz: "She compelled me. I had no choice but to help her. And now she's keeping me here and I don't know where I am. I'm scared, Damon; I'm scared of my daughter!" Damon: "Liz, we're gonna help you, you gotta stay strong!" (to Carol) "You promised me you'd give her vervain!" Carol: "I did!" Liz: "Is that Carol? It's not her fault, Damon. I'm compelled not to take any." Damon: (angrily) "Dammit!" Stefan: "Liz, can you see anything? Anything at all that you can tell us, to help us find you?" Liz: "I can't see anything. I.. Wait a.. Call me a minute later, I'll use the phone's flashlight, see what's around." Damon: "Good plan." After that Liz hung up. Then she checked the battery. It had enough power. Then with heavy breaths, she opened the camera, and turned on the flash. But as soon as she pointed it ahead, she startled seeing Caroline sitting right in front of her. Caroline: "Having fun?" Meanwhile, back on the street.. Stefan: "She's crossed a big line this time." Damon: "Lines are getting bigger, brother. As you so kindly reminded me, there's no limit to how evil one can be." Carol: "I don't understand. Why is Caroline doing this?" Damon: "She's not in her right mind." Stefan: "Or so we hope." Damon: (repeated his words with a more persistent voice) "She's not in her right mind!" Stefan: "Misao said she's not under a kitsune spell." Damon: "Misao's wrong." Stefan: "Misao's a kitsune." Damon: "One that I don't trust, and is one dimension away from us to know what we're going through." Carol: "You have a kitsune friend?" Stefan: "More like an ally." Damon: "Pure bloods once thought the same. They trusted this very same chick and all they got in return was their demise." Stefan: "That was different." Damon: "Don't fool yourself, brother. Neither you nor her got a good argument." Stefan: "Misao is the reason I survived the Dark Dimension. She's the reason you guys found me. And she's been keeping Elena safe ever since she escaped there. All that counts for something." Damon: "I'll trust that when I see Elena." Carol: "You guys lead very complicated lives!" Damon: "Couldn't have said better myself." Then took his phone and called Liz again. In the meantime back in the dark room, Caroline and Liz were looking at each other with a tense silence. Eventually the silence was broken by Liz's phone ring. They both looked at it. Then Caroline spoke. Caroline: "And here I thought I was being thorough when I compelled you that you can't call anyone for help. Seems I left out the other end." Liz: "It's not too late to come back, Caroline. Whatever your problem is, we can work it out!" Caroline: "Why is everyone so quick to assume that it's I who has a problem?" Liz: "Is that a real question?" Caroline: "No, I'm just jerking your chain." They looked at each other. The phone was still ringing. Then with a quick move, Liz tried to answer the call. However, Caroline was quicker. She used her vampire speed to catch Liz's arm and twist it to make her drop the phone. Liz was moaning in pain. Then without leaving her arm, she compelled her once again. Caroline: "Next time the phone rings, you're not gonna answer it. You're gonna let it ring, and ring, and ring, thinking that each time you don't answer, another chance for you to be free passes by, but there's nothing you can do about it." Liz: (in tears) "Don't do this, Caroline!" Caroline: "Strong will always prey on the weak. That's the way the world is made." (left her mother's arm and stood up) "You're gonna die in this place, mother. Alone, scared. You can use whatever time you have left to think about how colossal failures we both are. That might give you some peace at the end. Which is more than what you deserve." After that Caroline turned around and disappeared in the dark. Liz burst into tears. Damon lowered the phone from his ear. He didn't say anything, nor did he have to. His face was telling everything. They all knew that something bad must have happened. After a brief and tense wait, Damon threw the phone to the ground with all his anger. Naturally it broke into many pieces. Carol: "Now what?" Damon: (angrily) "You're the mayor! Figure something out!" Neither of them have seen Damon this angry. She and Stefan looked at each other. Then Carol slowly turned around and walked away. Elena was nervously pacing back and forth in her room, while Misao was sitting and waiting patiently. Elena: (suddenly) "How long has it been?" Misao: (slowly looked at her) "Little over an hour." (saw that Elena was too nervous) "Just give'em some time. I'm sure they're okay." Elena nodded, though her doubt was clear. Damon and Stefan were with Bonnie. June was also there. Bonnie was in the middle of a locator spell to find Caroline. Eventually she opened her eyes and looked at the map before her in confusion. Stefan: "What's wrong?" Bonnie: "I can't.. I mean, she's still herself, but.." Damon: "But what?" Bonnie: "I don't know!" June: "Her essence is messed up. The spell changed her." Damon: "If I ever get my hands on who's doing this.." Bonnie: "You'll have to wait a long line for your turn." Stefan: "What about Liz? Caroline may be different, but Liz is all the same." Bonnie: "I tried her too. I don't know why I can't locate either of them." Damon: "Like mother like daughter." June: "Maybe because they're together. I don't know, if, I mean, she's keeping her close, whatever's happening with Caroline might be working as a cloak." Bonnie: "That literally doesn't make any sense." June: "I don't see anyone else coming up with ideas." Stefan: "Seems we're gonna have to do this the old fashioned way." Damon: "And what's that?" Stefan: "Look for her." Damon: "For all we know, she could be in Switzerland. How do you even hope to find her?" June: "Cell signals!" (they all looked at her in confusion) "What? We're living in the 21st century!" Damon: "I think I just got an idea." Bonnie: (sarcastically) "I'm sure that'll end well." Liz's phone started ringing again. She quickly grabbed it and saw Damon was calling. But no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't answer the call. She started crying, and eventually threw the phone away. Thuds became more and more distant, as she tucked up her legs and cried. Meanwhile at the police station, Damon and Stefan were near a guy with a setup and headphones, clearly compelled to trace the call. Eventually he shook his head and took off the headphones. Tech guy: "There's no answer." Damon: "What good is having all this tech if you can't even find a cell phone?" Tech guy: "It doesn't work that way. The call must be answered for me to trace it." Damon looked at Stefan. Stefan: "Another dead end." Damon: (tapped the tech guy's shoulder, and compelled him when he looked) "Forget we were ever here." He nodded, and Stefan and Damon headed out. Outside the station, they met Bonnie, who was waiting for them near her car. They came near her. She understood it didn't work. Bonnie: "I hate that it works in movies." Damon: "Yeah, they make it seem so simple." Stefan: "Well, if we're all out of ideas.." Bonnie: "We are." Damon: "Switzerland, here we come!" Stefan and Damon looked at each other. Bonnie: (with a thoughtful voice) "I don't think so. I know Caroline since childhood, and she's never been unpredictable." Damon: "Well, she's also never been evil." Bonnie: "Whatever's happening to Caroline is making her channel to her bad memories. But I knew her as a human, I knew her as a vampire; there's one thing that's always been same with her. Who she is." Damon: "What, a bright kind young girl who's gonna change the world with her smile?" Bonnie: "The Caroline we know is still in there." Stefan: "So what are you saying?" Bonnie: "You said Liz was in a dark place. In broad daylight? That's gotta narrow it down." Damon: "To basements and sewers." Bonnie: "Caroline's too posh for severs." Damon: "That leaves us with basements, which every building in Mystic Falls has!" Bonnie: "Yes, but how many of them can she enter? She's messed up, but she's still a vampire." Stefan: "Sounds like you figured it out." Bonnie: "I have a few ideas." Stefan: "Okay, let's split up." They nodded. Meanwhile in Dark Dimension, Misao and Elena were still in the same room. Elena was clearly too worried, and Misao too was clearly thinking something was wrong. Elena: "Aren't you gonna say you're sure everything's okay?" Misao: "I'm not so sure about that anymore." Elena: (slowly raised her head and looked at Misao with questioning eyes) "You aren't playing with me, are you? If you are, that's the cruelest thing you could do." Misao: (turned her head to look at Elena. Knowing she had a point to think so, she kept her calm) "I'm not. Give me some credit." (Elena nodded, feeling bad for blaming her. A while later she stood up and walked to the door. Misao was surprised) "Where're you going?" Elena: (stopped and looked at her) "I'm gonna go talk to Tatia." Misao: "What for?" Elena: "When June reached out, it was her who sensed it. Maybe, somehow, she can reach back." Misao: (realizing that Elena was really desperate) "It's a very long shot." Elena: "I don't care. I have to try something." Misao: (saw her point, and stood up to go with her) "We gotta stick together. In case they call." Elena nodded and together they left the room. Damon and Stefan were leaving the school. Stefan called Bonnie. She quickly answered. Bonnie: "Did you find her?" Stefan: "Well that answers our question." Bonnie sighed. Damon: "Anymore bright ideas?" Bonnie: "At least one of us is trying." Stefan: "Where are you now?" Bonnie: "I just left the crypt. Nothing there. I have one more place to check." Stefan: "Yeah, don't hold on to hope. I don't think we're finding her today." Bonnie: "I'm gonna check it out anyway." Stefan: "Be careful." Both hung up. Damon: "I need a drink." (upon this Stefan looked at Damon with with a sharp move, as if he thought of something. Damon failed to interpret his look) "What?" Stefan: (without stating the obvious) "Come with me!" Cut to.. They were going down the stairs in a building. Damon: (sarcastically) "Hospital's boiler room. That's just brilliant." Stefan: "It's the one place we haven't checked, and what better place is to hide at for a vampire than where she'd have almost infinite blood source?" Damon: "I really hope you're right." Stefan: (they reached the boiler room's door) "You and me both." They looked at each other with slight nervousness. Then with a quick move, Stefan opened the door. Much to their surprise and relief, Liz was sitting on the floor at the other side of the room. She squinted with the sudden light from outside. Damon: "Liz!" Liz: (recognized the voice) "Damon?" They both ran towards her. But halfway into the room, the door was shut from behind them. As everything plunged into pitch black darkness all of a sudden, they were forced to stop. Damon: "Uh oh!" (to Stefan) "Any chance you're close to a light switch?" Stefan: "I'm right next to you, brother!" Suddenly they were both hit by someone fast and they fell towards different directions. They tried to stand up and fight back, but they could see nothing. Damon threw a few punches in the air, but suddenly got tackled. Liz: "What is going on?" Damon: (angrily) "Caroline!" He startled with a whispering voice barely an inch away from his ear. Caroline: "Boo!" With a desperate effort to hit Caroline he shook his arm, but Caroline dodged it easily and hit Damon in the stomach. Then dropped him with a powerful punch in the face. Stefan heard the fight and ran towards it with vampire speed, but Caroline stepped aside and raised her arm to make him hit it. Stefan too fell down after that. Then she went near him and jammed her fist into his chest to rip his heart out. Stefan's painful scream gave away his location, and Damon charged with vampire speed to save him. He and Caroline rolled for a while. When they stopped, Caroline quickly climbed on top of him and started punching him in the face. After a few punches, Damon figured out where the next would come and managed to block it. Then hit the person on him and set himself free. Caroline reeled, but put herself together quickly and punched Damon with an uppercut as soon as he stood up. Once again Damon found himself on the floor. Stefan: (stood up) "Caroline! You don't have to do this!" Caroline: "Oh but I do. See you two are never gonna stop trying to fix me. But you can't fix, where there's nothing wrong!" Then punched him in the head and made him fall. Damon: (stood up angrily) "If only I could see you right now!" Caroline: "You entered my home field without knowing what you're up against. I've been adapting my eyes to darkness for hours. Where you two are blind, I see just fine!" Then started punching both with her vampire speed. Eventually she flipped Damon over her back and threw him on Stefan. They were quick to stand up, and Caroline used her vampire speed to attack once again. But Damon raised his leg in an effort to make Caroline hit it. Luckily she did, and once he had an idea about where she is, he used his vampire speed to punch Caroline relentlessly until she fell down. At where she fell, Caroline saw a rusty iron pipe. She grabbed it with a quick move, and hit Stefan with it as hard as she could. Stefan grunted and fell. Damon knew he was next. But he had learned where Caroline attacks. Almost as if he too sees just fine, he raised his hand and caught the pipe in the air. Caroline was surprised by this and suddenly panicked. She tried to pull it back to save it, but Damon wouldn't let go. Then suddenly Damon hit Caroline in the face, and when she was distracted, he pushed and jammed the pipe into Caroline's chest. She screamed in pain, but Damon only pushed more while holding Caroline. She eventually fell down and passed out. Only then Stefan managed to find the light switch and turned on the lights. They all squinted with the sudden light. They all had blood all over their clothes and faces. Eventually Liz saw Caroline laying on the floor with an iron pipe, and ran to her in panic. Liz: "Caroline!" Damon: (stepped back to let her near her daughter) "She's fine. I just broke her heart a bit." (then looked at her body on the floor) "Pun intended!" Cut to.. Liz opened her eyes, and caught the final moments of Caroline's desiccation. It seems Bonnie had cast a vampire desiccation spell on Caroline, which they must have deemed the only way to stop her until they can fix her. They were back in Caroline's room. Damon and Stefan helped Liz stand up. She looked at her daughter with sadness, and while rubbing her arm, she noticed a weird bracelet. Damon saw she realized it. Damon: "Jeremy's vervain bracelet." (she looked at Damon) "Caroline compelled you not to take any vervain but no one said you can't wear it." Liz tried to smile, but she was too traumatized. Stefan: "What about Misao?" Bonnie: "I can't now. This spell took a lot outta me." Stefan: "Yeah. We all need our rests." They looked at each other, then started leaving the room. Damon noticed Liz was still standing, looking at Caroline. He went near her and held her shoulder. Damon: "It's okay, Liz. She's not gonna hurt you anymore." Liz: (without taking her eye off her) "I know that." Her shock was clear in her voice. Misao and Elena slowly entered Tatia's room, only to be shocked by the mess around. They saw that Tatia was making a mess of everything, everywhere, clearly desperately looking for something. Elena: "What is going on?" Tatia: (in panic) "I can't find it!" Elena: "Find what?" Misao: "Her magic necklace!" Tatia: "I could swear I left it in my drawer, but it's not there!" Elena: (to Misao) "Can't you find it with a locator spell?" Misao: "I could, but I don't have a clear enough picture in my mind to locate it." Tatia: "I wore it for a thousand years, I know every detail about it, but what good is it without any magic to find it!" Misao: "Come here, I'm gonna try something." She came close, and Misao grabbed her head gently to read her mind and get the image for her locator spell. It didn't take long until she left it, but she had a shocked look on her face. Misao: "Holy hell!" Then started running somewhere. Elena and Tatia followed her. Meanwhile in Elena's room, Klaus was standing next to Matt's body, holding Tatia's necklace, and casting a spell. Camera then zoomed on Matt's face, and a little while later, he opened his eyes. He was now Klaus.
