| Stefan brought a glass of water to June. She was breathing heavily with shock.
Damon: "Are you sure you don't remember anything?" June: (looked at the glass in her hands, and shook her head) "Last thing I remember is Gary and angels were leaving. Rest is blank. I remember waking up in Damon's arms." (Stefan and Damon looked at each other nervously. June cried) "What is happening to me?" Damon: (hugged her trying to comfort her) "Nothing, nothing's happening." Stefan: "Could be one of the foxes?" Damon: "I thought we killed them all." Stefan: "I think one of them escaped. And I think it's just one. The voice said "I will be back", so whoever it was, it was here. And it didn't say "we". It said "I"." Damon: "Quite the Sherlock. Yeah, I agree." Stefan: "So, what are we gonna do about it?" Damon: "Nothing." Stefan: "Nothing?" Damon: (smiled dangerously) "Yet. We destroyed an army. Pretty sure we can handle one little fox." Stefan smiled.
Antonio: "Did this happened before?" Elena: "Not like this. Not this severe." Caroline: "You saw her, didn't you? Her eyes." Elena: (nodded) "Full black" Caroline: "Which is never a good sign." Antonio: "W.. What is full black?" Elena: "It's something her eyes do, when she taps into dark magic." Caroline: "Darker her eyes means, deeper she is in dark magic." Elena: "Full black is like the darkest, like, um.." Antonio: "Rock bottom." Elena: "Yeah." Antonio: (looked at Bonnie) "How do you think her eyes look right now?" Caroline and Elena looked at each other nervously. Caroline: "Normal, I think.. I hope." Elena: "Bonnie is the strongest witch I've ever seen." Caroline: "Yeah, if anyone has the power to come back from that, it's her." Antonio: (caressed her hair) "Of course it's her. Do you know the name Bonnie is derived from the Latin word 'bonus'? It means 'good'. There is nothing about her that is dark." Elena: (touched by his compassion) "I know she'll come back. She'll come back to all of us." Antonio: "I don't know what I'd do without her." (Caroline and Elena barely looked at each other) "Maybe it's too soon to say things like that. I don't care. I know what I'm feeling." Elena touched his back supportingly. He looked at her and saw her smiling. He smiled too.
Meredith: "Damon?" Then opened the door. Indeed it was Damon. Damon: "How'd you know it was me?" Meredith: "How many vampire stalkers do I have?" Damon: (nodded thoughtfully) "That's fair." Meredith: (chuckled softly) "What do you want, Damon?" Damon: "I need your help with something." (Meredith got serious and moved her head, as in "with what") "We think.. um.. One of the kitsunes might have survived. And whoever it is, he's messing with June now." Meredith: "What do you mean?" Damon looked around suspiciously. Understanding him, she let him in, then closed the door. Damon: "She was possessed. Someone took control of her, and gave a clear message that they're not done." Meredith: "When did this happen?" Damon: "Soon." Meredith: "What do you want me to do?" Damon: "I want you to take a tour with me, around the town, maybe you could be able to sense a presence, a kitsune." Meredith: "Damon, you know they can hide themselves from angel powers." Damon: "I know it's a long shot, but I have to try." Meredith: "Why don't you ask Natalie?" Damon: "Why is everyone so obsessed with my relationship with Natalie?" Meredith: (smiled vaguely) "Or anyone else. I'm not the only angel in this town." Damon: "Because David is less than available, Gary is too busy trying to male-bond with him, I don't know your brother, and if I take Natalie out, I'm pretty sure I won't be looking for a kitsune." Meredith couldn't help but smile.
Gary: "You know, I have a feeling I'll make this right one day." David turned back to staring that same point. Gary sat near him. Only then he saw the bloodbags thrown down to the pavement. David slowly spoke. David: "I can sense them." Gary: (confused) "Sense who?" David: "People." Upon this Gary looked at the buildings and spoke after a while. Gary: "So can I. You said I'd have keener senses and I do. He can almost pinpoint their exact location." David: "They aren't moving. They aren't doing anything." (hissed) "They're just staring." Gary: "It's fear. People always fear what they don't understand." David: "We lost people for their sake. And they'll never know what this was all about." Gary: "Or care." David: "They'll never appreciate it. We lost our loved ones. But them, those people, sitting in their houses safely, they'll never understand." Gary: (slowly looked at him) "David, you can't do this to yourself. You can't keep torturing yourself like this. You shouldn't even be here." David: "I should be. In fact everyone should be here. Phantoms are coming now. We're the only ones that can stop them." Gary: "I know this it not about them. It's about Amy." Upon this David rushed and grabbed Gary's shirt with anger. David: (yelled) "You don't get to say her name!" Gary: (pushed him) "You think you're the only one suffering? I lost people too. People I loved like my own blood! We're all in pain!" David: (with a dangerously calm voice) "I didn't ask you here, Gary. If you don't wanna be around, then get the hell out." Gary looked at David silently. Then realizing there is no convincing him, he spoke gently. Gary: "We're all that is left. We gotta protect each other." David: "I'll pass." Gary: "Just be careful out here." Then called his wings and flew away.
Meredith: "I can't focus, Damon." (upon this Damon pulled over and stopped the car. Then looked at her. After a little silence, she continued) "This was a mistake." Damon: "Yeah, I know. Their spell is just too new, you wouldn't be able to.." Meredith: (interrupted him) "No I don't.. That's not what I mean." (a brief silence) "We shouldn't have interfered. We shouldn't have fought." Damon: "But you can destroy the phantoms now." Meredith: "Being able to destroy phantoms doesn't make it okay that.." (couldn't complete the sentence and took a deep breath) "Those people I lost, they were closer than friends to me. We were a family!" Damon: (looked away, as his face indicated he hadn't realized Meredith was in such pain) "You care a lot. It's one of the things I like about you." (looked at her. She wasn't in the mood for a conversation, let alone a mission) "Let me take you home." Meredith didn't say anything. Damon started the car and they went.
Matt: (sighs) "What are you doing here?" Elena: "Just wanted to make sure you are okay." Matt: (turned around and walked inside) "Oh I'm perfect. Full of sunshine." (looked back to Elena) "Dripping with happiness." Elena was looking at him from the entrance sadly. Then she tried to enter, but it seems she hadn't been invited in. She looked at him, trying not to upset him. Elena: "Can I come in?" Matt: (scoffed) "Yeah, what the hell." Elena tried again, but she still wasn't able to get in. Elena: "I guess I'm gonna need something more spec.." Matt: (with weariness) "Yes, come in, Elena!" Elena walked inside, and saw that the house was near empty. Most of the things were packed, and seemed like ready to go anytime he wants. Elena: "It seems you really meant it. You really are leaving." Matt: "I have to go Elena." Elena: "Do we know when?" Matt: "Next week. After I graduate and have my diploma. I'll take my paycheck from Sam. Then I'll just leave. I spoke to coach, he called some of his old colleagues. I'll see if I can start in one of their teams." Elena: "Seems you figured it all out." Matt: "Anything's better than staying here. I tried Elena. I've been trying for eighteen years. It's just impossible. Because when you're living in this town, if vampires don't get you, two random street racers do." (Elena looked with sadness) "I know I'll never change my past. Wherever I go, it'll follow me like a goddamn shadow. So I'm kinda stuck with it, you know. But at least somewhere else I can try to have normal life." Elena: (nodded) "So you're leaving for good." Matt: (sat to the couch) "Pretty much." Elena: (tried to smile) "Then you'd best not forget anything personal, because I know some powerful witches who might have mastered the art of location spells." Matt: (felt worse when he thought about Bonnie, and looked down) "You know when you said I meant what I said the other night?" (Elena nodded) "I didn't mean all of it." Elena: (shook her head) "Well you still shouldn't have said it, Matt. You hurt her. You hurt all of us." Matt: (looked down with guilt) "I know." Elena: (sat near him) "Please don't tell me that's why you're in such a rush to leave." Matt: "It's not." (looked at her) "How is she?" (Elena got confused) "I guess I'm still in Caroline's bff group, I keep getting updates about everything. I know about Bonnie." Elena: (smiled weakly) "Yeah, she.. she forced herself a lot." Matt: "But she's gonna be okay(?)." Elena: (looked at him) "We're hoping." Matt: (looked up and took a deep breath) "You know, I can't see her Elena. I tried a lot. But, it's blank." (Elena was confused about what he was talking about, but she waited before asking) "You know why? Because she was human." Elena: (understood) "You tried to see Sue!" Matt: (nodded sadly) "You don't know how badly I wish if she was a witch. Or werewolf. Hell even a vampire! But I was the one who wanted a life without all the supernatural crap. And now I can't use my ability to see the only person I want to." Elena: "Matt!" Matt: "I know it's wrong, Elena! But what would you do? I never got to say goodbye to anyone I love. It sucks!" Elena gently and supportingly put her hand at his back. Elena: (spoke softly) "You know we're gonna miss you. Our blue eyed, blonde, handsome, and kind quarterback friend." (Matt chuckled) "You are irreplaceable." He held her hand and looked at her. Matt: "I'll miss you guys too." (then looked around) "I won't miss this place."
Meredith: "I thought you said you'd take me home." Damon: "I did." (opened his door) "I didn't say to who's." Meredith: "Damon!?" Damon: (opened her door) "Meredith!?" Meredith: "What are you doing?" Damon: "Being a gentleman and holding the door for you so you can get out." Meredith: (chuckled involuntarily) "Then be a gentleman, and take me to MY home." Damon: "But you don't know what you're missing." Meredith: "Are you serious? You have a girlfriend!" Damon: "What, you think I'm hitting on you? Get over yourself and come with me, or I'll see if I can compel an angel!" Meredith: (while getting out) "Pretty sure we're immune." Damon: (they became face to face. He smiled naughtily) "Wanna find out?" (Meredith smiled barely and looked away, indicating she doesn't. Upon this Damon smiled) "Thought so." Then she followed him as he walked by the house and reached the backyard. Christian, Natalie, Gary, Stefan, Caroline, Tyler and June were there. Christian stood up when he saw Meredith. The others, who were sitting on grass, looked at their direction. After they got close enough, Meredith pushed Damon gently in a friendly manner. Meredith: "You could've said something." Damon: "Which would've ruined the surprise." After that Meredith caught Damon and Christian nodding at each other, indicating this was something they both planned. She smiled and sat with others. Damon looked around. Damon: "Where's Elena?" Caroline: "She said she was going to check on Matt." Stefan: "Yeah, they might come here together." Suddenly her voice came from behind. Elena: "I'm here." (they looked at her) "I'm alone." Tyler: "Matt wouldn't come?" Elena: "He's not in the mood." She sat on the grass near Stefan. After that Damon sat near Natalie. They smiled to each other and she leaned on his shoulder. Tyler: "Since when that's an excuse for you?" Elena: "Since I saw him packed his everything and ready to move." June: "He did what?" Elena: "He said coach will try to see if he can put him to a professional team or something. He's leaving after graduation." Gary: "That sounds like a thing to do." (they looked at him) "Put his life in order, do something useful with it." Caroline: "Except he had a life here." Tyler: "Until vampires and werewolves came and ruined everything." Caroline moved her head slowly, meaning it's a good point. Christian: (chuckled softly) "Says the werewolf." Tyler: "Actually I'm a hybrid. I'm both." Gary: "That's worse!" After what Tyler said some had chuckled, but after Gary spoke, they all laughed slowly. Tyler: (didn't know what to say and smiled) "Yeah, I'm shutting up." Gary: "By the way, Damon, we'll need a new dose of vampire blood." Damon: "I had it prepared in my room. I'll give you before we spread." Stefan: "Why Damon?" (they looked at him) "I mean there are four other vampires here." Damon: "Because you feed on bunnies." Christian: "Tyler's a wolf." Tyler: "You kinda seem obsessed with that." Natalie: "And Elena completed her transition with angel blood, so it might be diluted." Caroline: "I have no fault." Gary: (pointed Damon) "He's older and stronger." Caroline: (looked at Damon in a jokingly annoyed way) "Dammit." Stefan: "I don't think that's really a factor." Damon: (stretched with an obvious effort to be annoying) "Ah, it feels good to be the best vampire around." Natalie: "Of course you are the best vampire. Don't ever doubt it!" They kissed each other. Stefan looked at them weirdly. Stefan: (to Elena) "Oh my god, are we that annoying?" Elena nodded happily. Gary: (while smiling) "Anyway, I think I'll need the blood now. I'm feeling a bit tired, I might just call it a night." Stefan: "Buzzkill." Gary: "I think Meredith agrees with me." Christian: (looked at her) "Really?" Tyler: "Yeah, if her eagerness to join the conversation isn't any indication." Meredith: "I'm just not feeling it." Natalie: "But that is the point. To make you feel." Meredith: (with a slightly bitter voice) "Except some of us can't get over losing our friends as fast you can." This brought a stressful silence to everyone. Damon: "Whoa! Meredith!" Realizing she ruined the night, Meredith spoke with regret. Meredith: "I'm sorry." Gary: (stood up) "Damon, where's your room." Caroline: "I'll take you. I need to use the toilet anyway." Damon: "Don't use mine!" (Caroline looked at him weirdly) "I hate your perfume." Caroline: "You're an ass!" After Gary and Meredith followed Caroline, Christian stood up. Chris: "Well this was fun. Until it wasn't. Anyway, thanks for everything." They nodded, then he left too. After he's gone, Damon looked at Natalie. Damon: "Are you okay?" Natalie: "Yeah, I'm fine." Elena: "What was that all about?" Natalie: "It's nothing, I just.. I'm not as old in the team as others. In fact I'm fairly new. It's been less than a week since I joined the team before we came to Mystic Falls." Elena: "So you're not as shaken about, well.." Natalie: "I'm not. I mean I'm sure they were nice people. I just haven't spent enough time with them to know them that well." Tyler: "Well you can't be blamed for that." Natalie: "Tell that to Meredith." June: "But at least she apologized." Tyler: "Apologizing doesn't take what you said back, you gotta make amends." Damon: "You want me to go snap her neck?" Natalie: "You would, wouldn't you?" Damon: "For you, anything!" Stefan: "Oh my god, please get a room!" They all laughed. Damon and Natalie looked at each other naughtily.
Man: (with a whisper) "What is he doing?" Woman: "Get away from the window!" Man: "We saw the wings, what is he?" Woman: (closed the curtains) "I don't care!" Child: (from the couch) "They're waiting." Man: "For what?" Child: (nervously) "To kill anyone who'd go out." Woman: "This is insane!" Man: "We can't call anyone, no cell reception, no internet.." Child: "And no tv." Woman: "Why are they doing this?" Man: "But is it just them?" Woman: "What do you mean?" Man: "Why isn't the police doing anything? Why isn't no one doing anything!?" They stood nervously and looked at each other. Meanwhile a weird smile appeared on David's face, as if he was hearing them.
Caroline: "Where's Damon and Natalie?" Elena: "They went to, um.. They went to, um.." Tyler noticed she wasn't able to put it delicately, he spoke with a naughty smile. Tyler: "To get a room!" They chuckled. Caroline: (happily) "What?" Stefan: "They were all mushy mushy." Caroline sat near Tyler. Tyler: "Little like you two, when you first moved here." Caroline: (laughed) "If they were anything like them, it's a good thing they, well, got a room!" Tyler: "Anyway, we can have some actual fun now, now that it's five of us." June: "Don't hold your breath." (they looked at her) "Stefan has different plans for tonight. Private relationship plans." Tyler: (laughed) "Oh my.." Stefan: "Are we sure there's no way to block her powers?" Elena: "We could, if there was another psychic." June: (to Tyler) "Which reminds me, I never read your mind!" Caroline looked at him with enthusiasm. Tyler: "And I'd much rather keep it that way!" Caroline: "Come on, your deep ambitions, embarrassing childhood memories.. We could use a little laugh." Tyler: "How come we don't read Elena?" Elena: "You wanna dig into my past? Be my guest." Tyler: "Good point." June: (started to get up) "Anyway, I'm coming." Tyler immediately rushed back with his vampire speed. Tyler: "No!" His reaction surprised and confused everyone. Caroline: (slightly angrily) "What's going on, you got something to hide!?" Tyler: (realized he messed up) "N.. no(?)." Caroline: (stood up) "Then what's going on?" Tyler: "I just.. I just don't feel like opening up my mind to someone I barely know." Caroline: "You risked your life today to protect that someone you barely know." Tyler: "That's different!" Elena: (straightened) "You're not acting like yourself." Stefan: (spoke with a dangerously cold voice) "It's because he's not Tyler. He's the kitsune." Tyler: (freaked out) "No." Elena: (got up quickly) "June, come here!" June went behind Elena. Tyler was looking nervously. Tyler: "Guys, come on! I'm not kitsune!" Caroline: "Alright, then prove it. Let June touch you." Tyler: (looked at June, then at Caroline) "Can't do that!" Caroline: (stepped back) "Elena, you're the fastest and strongest!" Tyler immediately looked at Elena, and saw her looking angrily and showing her vampire veins. Tyler: "Holy!" He ran with his vampire speed, almost instantly Elena ran after him. June was breathing heavily with fear. Stefan came near her. Stefan: "Hey, it's okay. Elena is strong enough to take him down." June looked at him. He was smiling reassuringly, but he wasn't that sure himself. Meanwhile in the forest, Elena was catching up to Tyler. Tyler: "Elena, please! You have to believe me!" (but Elena wasn't even listening. Suddenly he thought of something and spoke to himself) "Wait!" With a quick move, he stopped and turned to Elena. When she came close enough, he tried to compel her. But before it could work, Elena grabbed Tyler from his neck, span around herself and threw him to a tree after breaking his neck. After the body fell, she quickly went to check it. When she turned his face to her, she realized it was indeed Tyler. Looked around with her eyes quickly indicating confusion. Then stood up with realizing something. Elena: "God!" Then ran back as fast as she could.
Caroline: "What happened?" Elena: "I lost him. He got away." Caroline: "He was faster than you?" Elena: "Or smarter. Shapeshifter, you know?" Caroline: (nodded, then spoke angrily) "I should've known that it wasn't Tyler." Elena: "You couldn't have. They can read your minds." (Caroline seemed to agree) "Anyway, I think I'd better take June home." Stefan nodded. Then June went near Elena and they started walking. Only then Stefan noticed something. Elena was not holding June's hand, in fact she was keeping a distance. He ran angrily and slammed Elena to a tree while holding her neck, much to everyone's surprise. Caroline: "What're you doing!?" Stefan: (while looking at Elena) "This is not Elena!" Upon this Elena smirked dangerously. She quickly turned into a small animal to break free of Stefan's hold, then returned to her original human self, who was a young Japanese girl. She immediately punched Stefan, then pulled him from his shirt and slammed him to the same tree. Then kicked him twice. The kicks threw Stefan away. Seeing that she indeed is the kitsune, Caroline ran to them with her vampire speed and fought back to the kitsune. The kitsune seemed much stronger than Caroline, but she managed to occupy her until Stefan arrived and threw her away. With a quick move, kitsune girl grabbed a branch and took height. Then she turned into a big falcon and stooped upon them. Stefan and Caroline dodged her by pushing each other. But when they looked, they saw the falcon flying incredibly fast towards June, who seemed frozen with shock. They looked in fear without knowing what to do. Suddenly a vampire showed up and saved June from the falcon in the nick of time. When the vampire stopped, they saw that it was Elena. The falcon looked back, but when it saw that she lost the upper hand and the surprise factor, it simply flew away.
Stefan: "Are you okay?" June nodded, but she seemed more scared than fine. Elena: (to Caroline) "Tyler's at the forest." Caroline: "Was he Tyler?" Elena: "He was, yeah. I snapped his neck, I figured if it was really Tyler he would be fine, but it would kill him if it was the kitsune." Caroline: (wasn't expecting Elena to go that drastic, but simply shook her head) "Good call. So he's now..(?)" Elena: "Laying under a tree somewhere, I really can't describe it." Caroline: "No matter. I'll find him. And then I'll ask him what the hell was going on with him today." Elena nodded. Stefan: (to Elena) "Perhaps I should walk you home." Elena smiled, and everyone went on to their ways.
Caroline: "This is quite a run. Especially for someone who's nothing to hide." Tyler: "Would you listen if I wanted to explain myself?" Caroline: "That's why I've been waiting here for half an hour, Tyler, waiting for you to explain yourself." Tyler: (sighed deeply) "Look. To be perfectly honest, I don't know June. Okay, she's Elena's cousin, and she's a nice girl. But I don't trust her enough to open my brain to her. Especially when I don't know what she's gonna find there." Caroline: "She's not gonna find something that isn't already there. That's what she does." Tyler: "There are some memories a man has to keep to himself, Caroline." Caroline: "I get that. It's the same for girls too. But if your memories are not known by your friends, they could serve the enemy. And we're facing an enemy that we've never faced before. They can read our minds, Tyler! So whatever it is that you're hiding, there's a good chance they'll use it against you. Against us!" Tyler: "I'm aware of that." Caroline: "So tell me. Don't tell them, just tell me. You trust me, right?" Tyler: "I do. It's not about trust, Caroline. It's about me. I can't talk about it." Caroline: "What do you mean you can't?" Tyler: "There's no other way to phrase it. I just can't!" Caroline: (looked around thoughtfully, then spoke) "Did you kill someone?" Tyler: "No(?)." Caroline: "Did you sleep with someone?" Tyler: "No!" Caroline: "Alright, then.. did you rob a bank? Did.. Did you join the yakuza?" Tyler: "Yakuza? What the.." Caroline: "What is it so bad that you can't talk about?" Tyler: "You think I wouldn't tell you if I could?" Caroline: (got up angrily) "Ah, forget it!" Tyler: "Caroline, wait!" Caroline: "Get away from me!" Tyler quickly ran in front of Caroline. She stopped. Tyler: "Caroline, please. I don't wanna lose you! I just need time. Okay? I just need time until I figure things out. And when I do, I promise I'll tell you. I'll tell you first. But until then, please don't force me." Caroline: (looked at him. He really looked panicked and genuine) "Are you in trouble?" Tyler: "Yes and no." Caroline: "What can possibly bring this much fear into an immortal vampire-werewolf hybrid's heart?" Tyler: "I just need more time, Care. That's all I'm asking." Caroline: (looked down) "How much time?" Tyler: (shook his head) "I don't know." Caroline: (looked at him) "We're immortals, Tyler. We got nothing more than time. But I'm not gonna wait forever." Then she walked away. Tyler looked at her. Tyler: "I love you!" Caroline paused for a moment and looked at Tyler. Then smiled, and continued walking.
Elena: "June?" After a while she replied. June: "Yeah?" Upon this Elena opened the door. She saw June sitting on the bed. Even though she looked beyond sleepy, she looked to be in great effort to stay awake. Elena: (worriedly) "Are you okay?" June: "I'm not. I'm scared!" (Elena left the bloodbag on the chiffonier and went near June) "When that fox possessed me, she could've done anything to me; she.. she could've grabbed a knife and cut my throat, she could've made me jump off a roof; something, anything to kill me. She didn't, but who's to say she won't try again? And maybe get the job done this time!" Elena: "I understand. But you need to sleep." June: "I can't. Not when she's still around. If I sleep, I won't be able to protect myself." Elena: "I'll protect you. I won't let anything happen to you." (June looked at her) "I promise on my life." They hugged each other. June dropped a few tears. June: "I trust you." Elena smiled weakly and caressed her hair softly.
Gary: "You're not your usual happy." Damon: "I'm just thinking." Gary: (turned his head to him, but not completely) "About what?" Damon: "About the number of phantoms." Gary looked at a random point for a while, then spoke with a disturbing realization. Gary: "Seven!" Damon: "That's two more than the number of angels we got." Gary: (rubbed his forehead with stress) "Damn!" (looked at Damon pouring himself another drink) "And it's so like you to look for answers in the bottom of a bottle!" Upon this Damon looked at the bottle he was holding, as if he thought of something. Damon: "Actually.." Gary: (got serious) "What?" Damon: (looked at him) "I think I have an idea!"
June: "What's happening?" Elena: (looked at her) "You're awake. Good. Pack your things." June: "Why?" Elena: "We're moving." June: "What? Where?" Elena: (started going downstairs) "To the lake house. Don't worry, it's temporary." June: "Is this about me?" Elena: (stopped and looked at her) "Kind of. Phantoms are gonna emerge anytime now, and I want you as far away from them as possible." June nodded and returned to her room. Elena went downstairs.
Meredith: "You felt that?" Christian: "It's happening."
David took a deep breath and stood up, then jumped off the roof and called his wings in the air. He made a soft landing. People at their windows were curiously looking at the lights. Suddenly the colors started fading and left itself to a darkness forming. As David kept walking, he saw the roof where Stephan died was beginning to become dark too.
Gary: (stopped when he saw them coming down) "It's starting." Damon: (pointed Natalie with his head without looking at her) "I know." Gary quickly looked at Natalie, then looked at Damon. Gary: "So what about that brilliant plan of yours?" Damon: "I'm working on it." Gary: "Well work faster!" Natalie: "What brilliant plan?" Damon: (looked at her) "Natalie, go with Gary. I can do it on my own, you'll be needed more there." Natalie nodded and she and Gary ran outside. Damon went to someplace else.
People at their windows were now looking with fear at the big black thing, and David, who then seemed to have called his wings [of destruction]. It didn't take long until the phantom noticed David and turned to him. David was looking at the phantom too with a dangerous and threatening smile. The phantom made another eery scream. David spoke slowly. David: "Hello Amy!" |
