Ewa is a recurring character who debuts in the sixth season of Stefan's Diaries. She is also the main antagonist of the season.

Early LifeEdit

Ewa was born in Poland, to a family of witches. But following her birth, her parents took away her magic, hoping to protect her from the difficulties of living a life as a witch. Ewa only found out the truth after her parents died. Unable to get her power back, she became vengeful. After hearing about the Guardians' power, she moved to United States, where she met Sid, a young but promising warlock, who falls in love with her and helps her achieve her goals.

Season 6Edit

Ewa never gets her magic back, but with the help of Sidney, she manages to absorb the Guardians' power, which gives her almost unlimited power. This makes her much stronger, faster and more durable than before. Her physical strength reaches to a level that she can take down vampires with great ease.

However, Ewa soon begins losing it. She steals Sidney's magic and sets out to destroy all supernatural life on the planet. To fuel her power, she kidnaps Hayden (the ultimate hybrid) and Stefan (son of the doppelganger). Realizing the threat has become serious, all supernaturals; vampires, witches, werewolves and even hunters; join forces and fight back for their survival.

Trivia & NotesEdit

  • Originally Leven Rambin would be cast. Later the writer wanted to give the character a European origin. Apanowicz was picked from a large list of names.
