| Jeremy is working at the grill. It's a quiet day, and there aren't much people inside. So Jeremy is the only worker today.
After some random guy gets his drink from the bar and leaves, Jeremy is shocked to see who is behind him. It's Katherine, acting like Elena, and asking for a drink. After he gets out of the shock, he tells her to get behind. Katherine asks why is he acting so weird. Jeremy tells her to stop. He knows she is Katherine and this is not a good time to act like Elena. Katherine laughs and asks why would he think she's Katherine. The bitch is gone for months and god knows where she is now. Jeremy says Elena died, and everyone knows it. So she has to get to the other room before someone else sees and recognizes her. Katherine is shocked to hear that, but eventually follows Jeremy to the staff room. When they arrive, Jeremy tells her to wait here. He's calling Tyler now. He will come pick her up and take her to his house. She cannot hang around now, especially when Elena's death is publicly known. Katherine is confused, and watches him go back inside, then appears a weird smile on her face, most likely happiness over Elena's death. Stefan is sitting in his prison. He is tired because of not feeding for too long, and his face is pale. Damon shows up behind the bars. He looks at Stefan with sad eyes. Damon: "You just had to drag us all the way here, didn't you. It's all about saving Elena, Elena, Elena, Elena." Stefan: (with a low voice) "Got a problem with that, Damon?" Damon: "No, I just admire the love you have. You know, I'm incapable of loving like you." Stefan: (smiles) "Maybe you'll learn one day." Damon: (Looks at his brother for a moment) "Don't worry brother. I'm coming for you. I'm gonna get you, and we'll get out of here." Stefan: (opens his eyes wide and looks at Damon) "No. I need you to save Elena. Just let me go, and tell her that I love her. That's all I need." Upon this, suddenly Damon vanishes, and Rebekah appears. Rebekah: "So it's all about saving your precious Elena. Regardless of how many people have to risk their lives, get hurt, or even die in the process. It's almost very cruel of you. When I knew you in 1920, you would never pine for someone this much. You were brave, not an idiot. You were smart. You even impressed my brother. But you were also able to let go. That is why I loved you. But now..." (She goes and Bonnie appears) Bonnie: "But now, you are willing to sacrifice me to save your Elena." Caroline: "And me." Tyler: "And me." Jeremy: "And me!" Matt: "And me!" Stefan: "Leave me alone!" Meredith: "And me!" Abby: "And me!" Stefan: (yells harder and fiercely) "I said leave me alone!" Then attacks the kitsune with vampire speed. But the kitsune quickly turns back to her original self, who is Misao, and kicks Stefan to the other side of the cell. Stefan collapses after the kick. Misao looks at him and starts giggling. Then leaves the room with happiness. Ulma opens Meredith's door. Meredith tells her it was a big move she did out there. Ulma says hers was even bigger. So she just wanted to make sure she doesn't regret her decision. Meredith smiles and says she doesn't. At least not yet. They smile, then Ulma sits near Meredith. Gets serious, and says she is trying so hard to keep it from her men, but she is scared. Meredith asks what is she scared of. Ulma says she is scared of leading them to defeat instead of glory. She is scared that she will let them down. A lot of people are looking up to her, and she has no room for failure. Also these guys needs to achieve something aside from surviving underground. They need morale. Actual hope, and belief. She is afraid she will fail to give this to them. Meredith says they believe in her. Ulma says they do, but all of her men are mentally broken people. All their lives they were taught to fear a lot of things. What if something goes wrong, and she loses everything. None of them is prepared for that. Upon this Meredith gets silent for a moment, then tells her that she and her friends were in a battle with kitsunes. And it was an army, but they defeated them. They had casualties, but it was a success. They did destroy that kitsune army. And some of her friends are now somewhere in the Dark Dimension. Ulma looks at her, like starting to believe her. Then asks if she really believes that they are still alive. Meredith says not just alive, but also free. After all there were two guardians, but the rebels only killed one. So what happened to the other. Ulma says her argument is inspiring, but she cannot lead these men to a dead end. Meredith looks at her and says the way she sounds, it's a dead end either way. But at least with her way and with her friends, they might have a real chance. Ulma looks at her, then looks at a random point. Damon and Tatia are in Damon's room. It's a big room with not so perfect view, but still it's one of the bests in the palace. They are talking about what Tatia has missed in the last 1000 years. She is shocked to learn that Europeans conquered all the new world lands. Then even though she didn't want to except at first, she learned about Klaus being a very bad person. Damon told her that Niklaus found a way to break his curse, and started turning every werewolf he finds into hybrids. He is building an army for no war at all. He just doesn't want to be the only one of his own kind, and a lot of people are suffering because of his wishes. Tatia understands that Damon is not exactly a friend of Klaus'. Damon asks her if that will be a problem. Tatia says not at all. But is still curious if they aren't friends why did they come here together to save one girl. Then asks if the reason they don't like each other is Elena. Damon smiles and says yes, but not the way she thinks. Klaus basically wants Elena for her blood. He wants to use her blood for his hybrids until the end of her life. And he and her friends want to save her from him. Tatia asks why he especially wants Elena. Damon says because Elena is the doppelganger of the loophole (Tatia), therefore only her blood can successfully create hybrids, just like how Klaus had to feed on Tatia to survive the transition. Tatia cannot believe the man she once loved became so cruel and heartless. Damon agrees. Tatia says she needs to find him. Damon wishes her good luck with that. Katherine gets bored in the staff room. Then finally Tyler walks in from the back door and tells her to come with him. She hesitates for a second, then follows him. While riding to home, Katherine asks how did Elena die. Tyler says it's a long story. Then she realizes they aren't going to the Salvatore house. She asks where they are going. Tyler says to his home. Katherine wonders why they don't go to Salvatore's house. Tyler replies because it's ruined. Katherine is shocked to hear that and asks how. Tyler looks weirdly and says it's another long story. Katherine sees the weird look and understands he doesn't know much either. So doesn't ask anything else. When they arrive, Carol invites her in. But Katherine says that's not necessary, she was invited before. Carol then says she will go and call June downstairs. Katherine looks at Tyler and says she hopes they have a room for her because she was planning to stay long. Tyler says they do, but it depends on what she is here for. Because he was told that there is a deal between the council and vampires. They are allowed to stay here as long as they don't touch humans. Katherine is frustrated that vampires are exposed. Tyler says him too. Then June comes downstairs and says hello. But when Katherine turns and looks at June, she is literally shocked. She even thinks it is Elena, and runs to her with extreme happiness. But when she sees Katherine is startled with her reaction, she understands something different. Then Tyler tells her that this is Katherine, Elena's great great great great great great great great great grand mother. June is shocked to see the resemblance. Upon this Tyler says Katherine was the doppelganger before Elena. June, in astonishment, asks if there are any other doppelgangers out there. Katherine suddenly asks who is the girl. Tyler says she is June Flemming. Upon hearing the surname, Katherine asks if she is Isobel's daughter. June says she is Isobel's niece. Then looks at her and asks how did she know her aunt. Katherine says they used to work together. Upon this Tyler looks at her, quite unable to believe that she is this straightforward. Katherine sees that and shrugs her shoulders, meaning it is what it is. Then turns to Tyler and asks where is Stefan and Damon. He looks weirdly, and says that's an even longer story. Katherine looks at him with disbelief. Ulma and Meredith are in a store like place, standing next to a middle aged guy who is drawing something. Then he says it's done. When they look at it, Meredith says it's perfect. This one looks just like Damon. Then they check the other pictures. She says Klaus doesn't look this old, and Bonnie is a little more round-faced. Then she looks at Stefan and says that will do it. The guy then says he's going to fix the errors and try to make more like them. It'll be ready tomorrow. Ulma says she will send a guy named Max, and he will take the drawings. The man nods. Then they walk outside. Meredith thanks her a lot for the help. Ulma says it's no big deal. After all she was right. If they are to take down the kitsune, they'd better first win over the ones who actually did that before. Meredith smiles, and asks if she really believes her friends are alive too. Ulma looks at her and says she made her believe it. Then they start walking to the forest. Jeremy opens the door and walks inside. Everyone, including Caroline and Katherine, are in the living room. Unlike the others, Katherine is pacing back and forth, clearly frustrated over something. Then she finally speaks. Katherine: "So we have to protect Klaus' body, is that it?" Caroline: "Yes. Otherwise we're all gonna die." Tyler: "Trust me, it came as a shock to us all too." Katherine: "So where is the body now?" Tyler: "At the basement." Katherine: "I don't know why you guys are incapable of staying out of trouble." Jeremy: "Look, we didn't ask any of this." Katherine: (turns to Jeremy and looks at him enragedly) "Actually you do. I just found about their little trip to the Dark Dimension, which according to June's psychic feelings went terribly wrong!" Jeremy: "We did what we had to do!" Katherine: "Of course. It's all about saving Elena, isn't it?" Jeremy: (gets angry) "She is my sister, Katherine. You have any problem with that?" Upon this Katherine attacks him with vampire speed and slams him to the wall. Then holds his neck and raises him, making him unable to breath. Caroline and June rush to stand up over this. Katherine: (while showing her fangs) "Do not ever test me, boy!" Suddenly Tyler attacks Katherine with his vampire speed and holds her ready to bite. Tyler: "Let him go, Katherine!" (Katherine looks behind to see Tyler) "If I bite you I cannot cure you, so don't make me do it!" Katherine looks at Tyler for a moment, then looks at Jeremy, and leaves him. Jeremy starts panting, while Katherine shrugs her shoulder to get rid of Tyler's hold. Then they look at each other. Tyler: "Look, no one's forcing you to stay here. So if you don't want to stay and help us, just leave." Katherine: "And leave my fate to a bunch of amateurs?" (looks at Tyler, then the others angrily) "I don't like the idea of protecting Klaus. But I will do what I have to do to survive. I'm staying." Then leaves the room, leaving everyone tense, but mostly relieved, and kind of glad.
Max comes near Ulma with a pile of papers. He says he got them. Ulma looks at the papers, and tells him to call Meredith. When she comes, Ulma tells her that the drawings came, and she sent 20 of her men to different locations to search for her friends. But she also wants Meredith to join the search too. They all know the rendezvous point. They will meet there after the search is done. Meredith will see if they are followed or trailed with her senses, and when they decide it's safe, they will come back here. Meredith nods. Stefan wakes up, and realizes that he is in a different cell. The door is just like the door of Salvatore basement. He looks around, and sees Misao grinning and looking at him at the other side of the door. Misao: "Well that took too long. I guess you've really gotten weak." Stefan angrily attacks Misao, but Misao catches Stefan's both arms with no effort at all, and she pushes both of the arms down, breaking them instantly by using the edge of the window. Stefan starts screaming with pain, and falls on his back. Stefan: (while rolling on the ground with pain) Why!?" Misao: "It's simple actually. We still couldn't capture your friends. So that makes two people knowing exactly where you are!" (Stefan tries to look at her) "But don't worry, we'll get them soon. I have certain techniques, and in time, they will come to me by themselves. But in the mean time, I didn't want to risk losing you. You see, I really enjoy your company!" Then she turns her back and starts walking away while grinning, leaving Stefan with his pain and screams. |
